This study aims to discover circulating microRNAs (associated with drug doses and levels) that can be used to characterize the overall immune state in pediatric heart transplant patients and predict patients that will go on to develop infection and rejection. MicroRNAs (miRs) are small, non-coding RNA molecules that regulate gene expression and serve as molecular biomarkers found in the circulation.
The purpose of this clinical study is to evaluate the safety and early effectiveness of a catheter-based procedure that treats a nerve called the right greater splanchnic nerve. The study includes people who have heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). The goal is to learn whether this procedure, performed using the Satera Ablation System, may help improve symptoms and to better understand which patients may benefit most from this treatment in the future.

This study is open to adults with chronic heart failure (HF) who have a reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) of less than 40%. People can join the study if they have been diagnosed with chronic HF at least 3 months before they start on the study. The purpose of this study is to find out whether a medicine called vicadrostat, in combination with another medicine called empagliflozin, helps people with chronic heart failure.
In this study, participants are put into 2 groups randomly. Participants have an equal chance of being in either group. One group takes vicadrostat/empagliflozin tablets, and the other group takes placebo/empagliflozin tablets. Placebo tablets look like vicadrostat tablets but do not contain any medicine. Participants take the study medicines as tablets once a day for between about 6 months and about 3.5 years. During this time, they can continue their regular treatment for heart failure.
Participants can stay in the study as long as they benefit from treatment and can tolerate it, for a maximum of about 3.5 years. During this time, they visit the study site regularly. The exact number of visits is different for each participant, depending on how long they stay in the study. The study staff may also contact the participants by phone for some visits. Participants also regularly answer questions about their well-being. The doctors document when participants experience worsening of their heart failure symptoms, go to hospital due to heart failure or die during the study. The time until these events are observed is compared between the two treatment groups to see whether the treatment works. The doctors also regularly check participants' health and take note of any unwanted effects.

This registry evaluates patient characteristics, real-world treatment patterns, and short- and long-term outcomes in a population of patients in the United States and Europe with symptomatic obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) who are receiving mavacamten, receiving other treatment for obstructive HCM, or not receiving treatment for obstructive HCM due to intolerance or failure of prior treatment.
United States Sub-Study: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety of mavacamten in patients with symptomatic obstructive HCM in the real-world setting.
Europe Sub-Study: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of mavacamten in patients with symptomatic obstructive HCM in the real-world setting.
This clinical study will evaluate the safety and tolerability of HiCM-188, an investigational allogeneic induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived cardiomyocyte therapy, in adults with advanced heart failure who are undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery.
Participants who meet the study eligibility criteria will receive a single dose intramyocardial injection of HiCM-188 during CABG surgery. The study will evaluate two dose levels of HiCM-188 using an open-label dose-escalation design. Participants will be followed for up to 12 months after treatment to monitor safety and preliminary signs of clinical effect.
This is a Phase 2 study evaluating the positron-emitting radiopharmaceutical 18F-mFBG as an imaging agent for quantification of myocardial sympathetic innervation. The study will examine a group of stable patients with heart failure (HF) from ischemic cardiomyopathy. All subjects will have left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) ≤35% and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICD). The primary objectives of the study will be to:
* document the degree to which 18F-mFBG uptake in the heart is reduced (compared to historical controls)
* characterize the distribution of regional abnormalities in relation to findings on rest/stress positron-emission tomography (PET) myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI)
* determine if there are global and/or regional differences in myocardial sympathetic innervation between subjects who have and have not experienced an appropriate ICD activation within the previous 12 months Effectiveness of 18F-mFBG will be judged in relation to historical experience with other nuclear imaging agents for cardiac sympathetic innervation imaging such as a 123I-meta-iodobenzylguanidine (mIBG) and 11C-hydroxyephedrine (HED).
Safety data will be collected to identify adverse events \[AEs\] and serious adverse events \[SAEs\] and characterize the safety profile of 18F-mFBG.

Participants are put into 2 groups by chance. Every participant has an equal chance of being in each group. The groups are:
* Vicadrostat/empagliflozin group: participants take vicadrostat/empagliflozin as tablets once a day.
* Placebo/empagliflozin group: participants take placebo/empagliflozin as tablets once a day.

Researchers are looking for a better way to treat children who have heart failure with left ventricular systolic dysfunction (LVSD). Heart failure is a serious condition where the heart is unable to pump enough blood to meet the body's needs. This can lead to symptoms like shortness of breath, fatigue, and poor growth in children.
The study treatment, finerenone (also called BAY94-8862), works by blocking a protein involved in inflammation, scarring, and thickening of the heart and blood vessels. This may help the heart to pump blood more effectively. This is the first study to explore its use specifically for children with heart failure and LVSD.
The main purpose of this study is to learn if finerenone works to help the heart compared to placebo in children with heart failure and LVSD. For this, the researchers will collect and analyze data on the levels of a protein called NT-proBNP in the blood, which indicates heart stress, and monitor the safety of the treatment.
The study will include children with heart failure and LVSD aged from 6 months to less than 18 years. The study participants will be randomly assigned to one of two treatment groups. Based on their group, they will receive either finerenone or a placebo for a duration of 3 months. A placebo looks like a treatment but does not have any medicine in it. Throughout the study, all participants will continue to receive their standard heart failure treatments.
At the start of this study, the doctors will check each participant's medical history and current medications. If participants qualify for the treatment phase, they will undergo treatment for about 90 days. During this time, they will visit the study site at least 3 times. During these visits, the participants will:
* have their blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, respiratory rate, height and weight measured
* have their heart examined by electrocardiogram (ECG) and echocardiogram
* have blood samples taken
* have physical examinations
* answer questions about their medication and whether they have any adverse events, or have their parents or guardians' answers
An adverse event is any medical problem that a participant has during a study. Doctors keep track of all adverse events that happen in studies, even if they do not think the adverse events might be related to the study treatments.
After the initial three-month study, eligible participants will have the option to join a nine-month open-label extension study where all will receive finerenone. Participants who choose not to enroll in the extension will have a follow-up visit 30 days after their last treatment.
This clinical trial studies the effects of dexrazoxane hydrochloride on biomarkers associated with cardiomyopathy and heart failure after cancer treatment. Studying samples of blood in the laboratory from patients receiving dexrazoxane hydrochloride may help doctors learn more about the effects of dexrazoxane hydrochloride on cells. It may also help doctors understand how well patients respond to treatment.

The investigators aim to prospectively test the comparative effectiveness of His or Left bundle branch pacing in relation to patient centered outcomes (quality of life, physical activity, heart failure hospitalization, mortality) and comparative safety in relation to device-related complications and re-interventions (e.g., lead dislodgement, infection) relative to standard of care biventricular pacing in patients with heart failure due to left ventricular systolic dysfunction (LVEF≤50%) and with either a wide QRS (≥130 ms) or with/anticipated \>40% pacing who are already receiving current standard heart failure pharmacological therapy.
