The objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of VELGRAFT in patients with chronic diabetic foot ulcers, which have attained granulation tissue. VELGRAFT will be studied in conjunction with pest practices for diabetic foot ulcers. The Primary goal is to assess the safety of VELGRAFT to treat diabetic foot ulcers as compared to standard of care therapy. Secondary goals include the assessment of efficacy of VELGRAFT for healing diabetic foot ulcers compared to standard of care therapy

Despite many advances in our understanding of the natural history and progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and cardio vascular disease (CVD) in the parent CRIC study over the past 15 years, important questions about key risk factors for these diseases remain unanswered in the AI population. To address this burden of CKD in AI communities Investigators formed a consortium of investigators with extensive experience in conducting research of chronic diseases including diabetes, cardiovascular and kidney disease in AIs of Southwestern US. The proposed CRIC ancillary cohort study of 500 AIs (AI-CRIC) will rapidly improve our understanding of both potential risk factors for CKD progression, as well as the scope of this disease among AIs. This study leverages the current CRIC study and incorporates the planned activities of the next phase of the study - "CRIC 2018" - by implementing contemporary CRIC protocols for kidney and cardiovascular measurement and outcomes.

This trial aims to find out if obe-cel gets rid of harmful B cells that contribute to systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE)/lupus nephritis (LN) when available treatments have not worked (refractory). The trial includes only 1 group of patients (single arm), including adolescent and adult patients aged 12 to 65 years. The objective is to look for benefits of obe-cel in making signs of LN completely disappear (remission) at 6 months after obe-cel treatment in patients with severe, active LN. The trial will also look for other benefits of obe-cel for up to 24 months after treatment, including the percentage of patients who respond to obe-cel treatment, SLE/LN activity, time to and length of remission, and quality of life. The trial will also assess how long obe-cel stays in the body and the safety of obe-cel.
This is an open label study to determine the association of the data obtained with LuGENE®, a transcriptomic-based LDT, with standard evaluation of patients diagnosed with SLE, including clinical involvement, SLEDAI score, Physician Global Assessment (PGA) and standard laboratory measures, including ANA, anti-DNA, anti-RNP and complement components C3 and C4, as well as Patient Reported Outcomes capturing pain, fatigue and Health-Related Quality of Life. The test will be administered on one occasion to patients with a clinical diagnosis of lupus or incomplete lupus and clinical and laboratory features evaluated contemporaneously. This trial includes a pilot study of approximately 10 subjects from 2-3 sites to assess whether the delivery times of LuGENE® laboratory results do not exceed more than 7 business days.

The Arizona Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC) is the National Institute on Aging's (NIA's) first statewide AD Center (ADC), the only ADC in the Southwestern United States, and a leading example of statewide collaboration in biomedical research. It capitalizes on Arizona's strengths in brain imaging, genomics, computer science and biomathematics, the basic, cognitive and behavioral neurosciences, clinical, and neuropathological studies of AD, the discovery and evaluation of investigational treatments, and the study of normal cognitive aging.
This phase I trial tests the safety, side effects, and best dose of ASTX727 when given in combination with a usual approach of treatment with paclitaxel and pembrolizumab in patients with triple-negative breast cancer that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic). The usual approach is defined as care most people get for this type of cancer. The usual approach for patients with metastatic triple negative breast cancer who are not in a study is chemotherapy with drugs like paclitaxel, carboplatin, cisplatin, eribulin, vinorelbine, capecitabine, gemcitabine, doxorubicin or cyclophosphamide. There is a protein called PD-L1 that helps regulate the body's immune system. For patients who have PD-L1+ tumors, immunotherapy (pembrolizumab) is usually added to paclitaxel or carboplatin/gemcitabine as initial treatment. For patients who have PD-L1-negative tumors, chemotherapy alone is used, without immunotherapy. ASTX727 is a combination of two drugs, decitabine and cedazuridine. Cedazuridine is in a class of medications called cytidine deaminase inhibitors. It prevents the breakdown of decitabine, making it more available in the body so that decitabine will have a greater effect. Decitabine is in a class of medications called hypomethylation agents. It works by helping the bone marrow produce normal blood cells and by killing abnormal cells in the bone marrow. Paclitaxel is in a class of medications called antimicrotubule agents. It stops tumor cells from growing and dividing and may kill them. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving ASTX727 with usual treatment approach with paclitaxel and pembrolizumab may be able to shrink or stabilize the tumor for longer than the usual approach alone in patients with metastatic triple negative breast cancer.
